West Bengal Chemical Industries Limited is one of the world’s major API and Fine Chemical manufacturer in India and provider of specialty mineral salts for the pharmaceutical, nutritional supplement, food, animal feed and gardening applications. Over 55 years of manufacturing experience, combined with an innovative spirit and high flexibility, enables WBCIL to respond to changing needs of the customers. Trace elements like Copper, Manganese, Chromium, are part of the product range as well. These minerals are available as Ascorbate, Acetate, Propionate, Phosphate, Citrate, Aspartate, Gluconate, Bislglycinate, Malate and several other anions.
The mineral salts are produced at quality levels stipulated by pharmacopoeias, regulatory food guidelines or customer’s specifications. This includes the adaptation of chemical and physical parameters like bulk density, particle size,purity, pH-value, etc.
The facility is based out of Kolkata in the Eastern region of India, and is boasted with cGMP, ISO and HACCP certification. We can also comply with the requirements pertaining to Kosher and Halal certification
The Quality Control Department is GLP – Compliant, with its test methods having gone through the rigours of Analytical Method Validation. With a sound Quality Management System in place, WBCIL’s products have validated and audit proved DMF in CTD Formats. Some DMF have been submitted to USFDA.
WBCIL has the pride of applying for patent of some novel products which are in the examination phase.
