CALCUTTA CHESS ACADEMY is a pioneer organisation in Chess Coaching in West Bengal which has been operating successfully at North Kolkata since the last 23 years. The students/ex-students of this organisation include International Master, World/Asian Age-group Champions and several Champions in International, National and State level tournaments.
The Chief Coach of this institute Shri Shyamol Dutta is a former National-A player, former State Champion and the only N.I.S.-Trained Chess Coach of West Bengal who introduced group chess coaching for the first time in India 39 years ago. Apart from Shri Dutta, there is an excellent team of most experienced and expert Coaches for guiding the students.
The most distinguished feature of this institution is that in addition to usual chess lessons, special Mind-training is being conducted here for improvement of memory, concentration and calculating power.

Calcutta Chess Academy is an excellent chess academy. This Academy has trained up many many champions. Series of success! Recently Calcutta chess academy has opened a center at south Kolkata also.
